As an urban artist, born and raised in Tel Aviv with significant time in New York, my art is deeply shaped by - and reacts to - the city vibes, the restless urban energy and the oversaturated screens of the information age.
My work breathes through the act of walking city streets, capturing their pulse. As I walk, I collect: photographs, torn fragments of posters that later become collage material, and rare magazines and old invitations. These found pieces make their way into my studio, where they're translated into paintings, photography, and digital artworks.
My process often starts with a simple illustration, drawn in pen and markers, sometimes scanned and digitally reworked, sometimes drawn over, combined with other materials, or layered into a mixed-media collage.
In my eyes, a work of art must be immediate and powerful enough to compete with the flood of commercial imagery surrounding us. Yet a closer look at my artworks reveals harmony, gentleness, intricate detail, and nuanced color work.
This tension - between a striking first impression and refined artistic balance - best defines my creative approach.
